I never wanted to live anywhere else besides Texas. I enjoy traveling, but more than that I enjoy coming home and having my place of comfort and routine.
Who would have thought? Not me!
Change is scary, especially for someone who’s a massive introvert like I am. In theory I always wanted to be my own boss, to take the liberty to travel and explore the world.
But it always seemed like a far off dream, like something other people did. In the past I wasn’t cut out for this sort of thing, but now I can truly say that I ENJOY the challenge of the unknown and the unfamiliar.
After spending the last 5 months supporting myself through my online business and utilizing digital tools and systems to make my business run smoothly, I’m a BIG believer in running your virtual business from anywhere.

2. Visiting Roswell, NM and Carlsbad Caverns
While I’d like to say that staying in Denver for the summer was a personal decision — one we wanted to do for fun — it wasn’t. We’ve been here to help a family member go through some intense chemo and surgery.
But we decided to make the best of it, and decided to take a weekend road trip with friends down to Roswell, New Mexico to see the UFO museum and visit Carlsbad Caverns.
It was an amazing experience! I got to see some of the most beautiful underground sculptures and formations. Plus I got to see hundreds of bats fly out from the mouth of the cave at dusk.
