If you’ve read any other posts from my blog, you know I never pay full price when shopping online. I like to take advantage of cash back rewards, discount codes and free shipping whenever possible.
CouponChief.com is another great money saving site to add to my online shopping arsenal. They offer a completely free – no need to sign up or login, searchable database for digital coupon codes.
It’s basically the latest and greatest thing to happen to the “couponing” craze. No more clipping coupons by hand or trying to track down the last “special discount” email.
Using the Coupon Chief site.
- Search over 100,000 stores and online merchants
- Copy the coupon code
- Paste the code in the merchant’s code/coupon box during check out
- Save an average of $21 per online transaction
Printable coupons. While most of the coupons are digital, some of them are printable and can be used in stores too. If the coupon has the printable option, just click on the “Print this coupon” button.
Pays-2-Share program. One of the coolest things about Coupon Chief is their community sharing program called Pays-2-Share. By sharing a coupon code with the rest of the site, you will be paid 2% of the sales. Once your account reaches $25 you can request a payout.
Sign up for the email newsletter. You can be the first to know about exclusive coupons and discounts when you sign up for their newsletter with your email address. It’s completely free and can alert you when your favorite retailer has a new coupon code available.
Browse for free. If you don’t want to sign up for the newsletter or Pays-2-Share program, you can still use Coupon Chief for free. Browse for savings by price, category or look through the featured stores to see if anything particular stands out. You will have access to search for codes and save money anytime you shop online.
I personally like using the codes and discounts for traveling sites like Expedia. Traveling can get really expensive, so this is a great way to pay less and have fun while on a budget.
Stay up-to-date on Coupon Chief’s promotions and saving opportunities by following them on Twitter and Facebook.
