It’s My Birthday, and I Need Your Help

Its My Birthday, I Need Your Help

Today I turn 28, although I don’t feel a day older than 20. I don’t have much planned, just gonna have a little R&R (rest and relaxation).

This year has started off with lots of wonderful and exciting opportunities. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds.

Cheers, to getting another year older (in a slightly sarcastic tone)!

I need your help. Okay, now to the part where I ask for you for a favor. I know it’s kind of rude to ask for something on your birthday, but oh wells. :D Will you share one thing that Careful Cents has helped you with, over the past few months?

Please share. In the comments section below, please share your favorite post, best financial tip or something you learned and implemented within your finances. Maybe it was something about traveling, or career advice that I shared from my own life. Or it can even be another piece I wrote somewhere else that really helped you.

I love to hear from my readers, and want your feedback on what’s worked for you. There are no rules, but the more specific the better.

Leave a comment. Tell me how I inspired you to pay off debt, read a money-related book, or reach a financial goal. Or share your opinion about how you differed with something I said. Anything goes.

Thanks in advance for doing me this little favor; it will be the highlight of my day!

Well now we know things started off in FinCon but we didn’t get to talk enough. I’m very grateful that we’ve been doing a bit of brainstorming lately about our mutual passion. I look forward to partnering in the future. Happy Birthday young grasshopper.

It was SO awesome meeting you at FinCon! We will have to talk more this time around for sure. It’s been fun chatting, emailing and brainstorming with you Jess. Thanks a bunch.

I’m really new to the site — been reading perhaps a month or less — but the Weird and Gross post was really interesting! Funny and gross, sure, but kind of eye-opening because it showed that some people REALLY think out of the box when it comes to being frugal! Thinking out of the box is good; those habits you listed, not so much. HA! Happy birthday!

Thanks @f8f82609d86d9522ec5d62bd0c364367:disqus  for being a Careful Cents reader and for sharing your feedback. The Weird and Gross post was fun to write too. Sometimes my mind can think of strange stuff. They are definitely not ways I’d save money, but they were funny!

Thank you Jenny. I had a lot of fun writing that one, and I thought it was pretty clever myself. I promise I’ll keep trying to be creative and educational going forward.
Thanks for sharing your feedback :)
