This Month’s Featured Resource
Outright - Outright is an online accounting tool that organizes all of your expenses and income from places like – eBay, Etsy, PayPal, Amazon, as well as your business bank accounts and credit cards. I even named Outright one of my favorite must-have apps for freelancers.
Simplify Your Finances
Mint.com – Free and secure online budgeting software. I’ve linked my checking, savings, investment and loan accounts. It’s more efficient to have them all in one place.
ReadyForZero - this software is for keeping track of debts only, like credit cards, personal loans or auto loans. Thanks to ReadyForZero I became completely debt free and paid off $14,000! Read how it works for me.
CreditKarma – this site monitors my credit report for free. I can check my accounts anytime and update them as often as I like.
PerkStreet Financial - I get 1% cash back on all my debit card purchases with this checking account, plus up to 5% cash back in bonus categories. So far I’ve earned $175 in cash back. Read how it works for me.
Discover® It Card – I only keep my Discover card for the awesome cash back and 0% balance transfer offers. I use it as part of my debt pay off plan, to save money on interest. Read how it works for me.
Make Your Business Run Smoother
FreshBooks - For handling freelance and small business clients and projects I love using Freshbooks. The program is simple to use, comes with a mobile app and the basic version is free! You can also sync this with your accountant for easy tracking of receipts, AP and AR.
Outright - Outright is an online accounting tool that organizes all of your expenses and income from places like – eBay, Etsy, PayPal, Amazon, as well as your business bank accounts and credit cards. I even named Outright one of my favorite must-have apps for freelancers.
Dropbox - I would seriously be lost without this tool! It’s a file sharing web and phone application that lets you share photos, documents and videos from anywhere in the world and syncs with all your devices. Perfect for that freelancer or solopreneur on the go!
SignEasy - As someone who works on the go, my “office” is almost always mobile. And SignEasy makes it simple, because there’s no printing, faxing or scanning required. Your signature can be signed using your finger or imported from a signature photo you’ve downloaded from the computer.
Investing Tools
Betterment.com – while this business is fairly new, it’s already becoming one of my favorite investing companies. I absolutely love seeing how much I’m making with their free mobile app. I recently opened a Roth IRA with them, more info here.
Online Shopping & Deals
BeFrugal – This is by far one of my favorite online shopping tools. I receive cash back for all my shopping, as well as coupons, discounts and free shipping. Get a free $10 bonus just for trying out the site, no purchase necessary.
